Aurora Public Safety FIELD DAY
May 16, 2026 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Become a COMMUNITY PARTNER at the Aurora Public Safety

 FIELD DAY

Date:   May 16th, 2026 from 10:00-1:00

Location:  City of Aurora Public Safety Training Center

25950 E Quincy Ave (next to Arapahoe Co Fairgrounds)

The Aurora Fire Rescue, Aurora Police Department, Aurora Rotary Club and Smoky Hill Rotary Club invite you to be a part of the free Public Safety Field Day! This exciting event offers educational and fun activities for families and children, with the goal of raising funds for a Mobile Fire Safety Trailer. The trailer will be used at schools and in the community to teach children how to escape home fires and promote fire prevention strategies.

Now in its third year, we expect 500-800 participants and are seeking sponsors who can promote their business while supporting this crucial cause as a CHAMPION of fire safety education.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY:

-$250 donation:  Receive a 10x10 event space. Donations will support the purchase of the Mobile Fire Safety Trailer.

You are welcome to set up a tent in your designated space (bring your own table and chairs).  Due to possible windy conditions, weigh down your tent. Kids love stickers and stamps if you want to provide those at your table. You can also provide a gift basket or item to be given out at our event drawings. The event starts at 10:00, so arrive by 9:30 for set-up.

There are only 20 sponsor spaces, so act fast and secure your spot by emailing rrichardsr@msn.com. Please include the following:

  1. Company name
  2. Contact person’s name
  3. Contact phone number and email address
  4. Gift basket or item provided for raffle: Yes or No

For additional Community Partnership Donor opportunities available with added benefits, email Rick Richard at rrichardsr@msn.com

Rotary Family Picnic (& Installation Ceremony)
Jun 06, 2026 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM

1st Annual Rotary Family Picnic Potluck

Grab your lawn chairs, bring the family, and join us for our 1st Annual Rotary Family Picnic Potluck on Saturday, June 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Red Tail Hawk Park in Aurora!

This will be a fun-filled afternoon of great food, laughter, fellowship, and family-friendly games and activities for all ages. The club will be providing the main course, and we’re asking everyone attending to bring a favorite side dish, dessert, or other item to share with the group.

To make the day even more special, Kelly Goebel has chosen to celebrate her Presidential Installation during the picnic, and Ryan is excited to officially pass the torch in what promises to be a memorable and meaningful moment for our club.

We’d love to see lots of Rotary families come out and enjoy the afternoon together. Please make sure to register yourself and each family member attending, and don’t forget to include what you’ll be bringing for the potluck.

Let’s make this first annual event a wonderful new Rotary tradition!

Mini-Dini Parties
Oct 17, 2026 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Join us for a fun and unique evening of food, fellowship, and friendship!

All Mini-Dini Parties will take place on the same evening, with Rotary members and their guests divided among several host homes. Once we know how many people plan to attend and how many homes are available to host, names will be randomly drawn to create each dinner group.

Attendees will be assigned to their dinner host locations during the September 23 Club meeting, so be sure to attend and find out where—and with whom—you will be dining!

There will be no picking and choosing—and that is part of the fun! You may enjoy dinner with familiar friends or have the opportunity to get to know fellow members you do not usually have time to visit with during regular meetings or larger club events.

Each gathering will offer a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where guests can share a meal, enjoy meaningful conversation, and strengthen their Rotary connections.

Come ready for good food, great company, plenty of laughter, and—hopefully—very few cooking disasters!

Monthly Mixer - Bubba's 33
Oct 21, 2026 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Can’t always make it to our weekly Rotary meetings? Or just want another chance to connect with fellow Rotarians?

Join us for our October Monthly Mixer at Bubba’s 33! This is a casual, informal gathering designed to help members stay connected, hear what’s happening around the Club, and enjoy some time together outside of our regular meetings.

We’ll spend a few minutes talking about upcoming Rotary events, service projects, volunteer opportunities, and ways to get involved—but mostly, this is about conversation, friendship, and connection.

No agenda. No podium. No formal meeting. Just Rotary friends getting together for happy hour!

🍻 Food and drinks are on your own.
πŸ‘‹ Haven’t been to a meeting in a while? We especially hope you’ll join us!
πŸŽ‰ Guests and prospective members are welcome, too.

Wednesday, October 21 | 5:00 PM | Bubba’s 33

Because being part of Rotary is about more than attending meetings—it’s about staying connected, serving together, and being part of our Rotary community.
