Carolyn Pace from Wompost was our speaker this week.  Wompost is a neighborhood company in Northwest Aurora.  Wompost provides you with a simple way to recycle your biodegradable waste into compost.  Just like curbside trash and recycling pickup, they pickup your food scraps and yard waste once a week from your house.  Their vision is to provide composting to make compost collection available to every single person in Colorado who wants it. Weekly Compost Pickup. We'll send you a bin and compostable bags to collect your organics waste: kitchen and yard waste.  Once a week, set your bin on your curb for pickup.  Your pickup day will depend on your address.  We'll pickup your compost and bring it to a composting facility.  We give the finished compost back to you, and the community, through free compost events.   Wompost provides a 5 gallon bucket for weekly pickup along with a compostable bag.  The prices range from $9-$15.  Carolyn is very passionate about composting and providing a resource to Aurora residents and in the future all residents in the Denver Metro area.  She is working towards developing her own commercial composting location to support the needs of Aurora residents.  So what can you compost?
