Andrew Dixon was our speaker this week from CSU Global.Andrew is the Assistant Vice President of Marketing for CSU Global. CSU Global is the first (and only) independent, regionally accredited fully online university in the nation. Why is that important? It provides a great opportunity for students to obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree at their location. Many students thrive in this environment particularly our military families and soldiers who are known to move regularly. This type of format doesn't interrupt their ability to obtain a degree. CSU Global is setup to serve all students as a full 4 year program. The average age of their students is 35 years old working full time. Another bonus is they are also part of the renowned Colorado State University System, which includes the flagship Colorado State University in Fort Collins and the Colorado State University-Pueblo campuses. Each of the three campuses are operationally separate with distinct missions, but are governed under the same CSU System Board of Governors. The ROI of a CSU Global education is that the student will receive in higher 61% more in annual income over the median income after graduation. CSU Global has met and exceeded its goal to create a digital learning environment that rivals the best traditional degree programs. At CSU Global, your virtual classroom is designed to offer the same learning opportunities you’ll find at brick-and-mortar colleges and universities — and more — on a schedule that fits your life. The have roughly 16K students currently enrolled.
