Kindle Chair
We started putting Kindles in third
grade classrooms in Aurora several years ago.
They really help reluctant readers,usually
boys.
Age appropriate material can be chosen
and the Kindles track the readers
comprehension, speed, and where they
and where they left off the last time.
Adopt a Family
At Christmas the club and a number of members buy toys and other gifts for disadvantaged families in coordination with the Salvation Army.
