Marcus Tipton - InVINtions Winery
Our speaker this week was Marcus Tipton from InVINtions Winery.

Marcus Tipton, Owner of InVINtions, A Creative Winery, is a man who has worn many hats.  A Colorado Native, and third generation Coloradoan whose family hails from Leadville, Marcus graduated from a Denver high school and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Metropolitan State University.  After working for several years as an auditor for the Colorado Gaming Division, then as a police officer in Black Hawk, and the Assistant Superintendent of Mount Olivet Cemetery, Marcus set it all aside to follow his dream of starting a business. InVINtions, A Creative Winery opened it’s doors May 18th 2010, and Marcus has never looked back.  He loves the wine.  He loves the people.  He loves seeing people smile.

Marcus mentioned that they will be celebrating their 10th anniversary this summer.  InVINtions is a fully operational winery located in the heart of the Denver Tech-Center in Greenwood Village. Yes, we are an actual wine-making operation, run by an award winning wine making team! Their wine is made using grapes from all over the world; it is low in sulfites and fruit forward, in the European tradition. With 1/10th of the chemical preservatives that you’d find in most wines in the USA, this wine is softer on the palate, meant to be enjoyed young, and ages beautifully within just a few years. We have nearly 100 wines to choose from and everything is open for tasting.  These wines are made from fruit all over the world.

Your taste buds can travel around the world without ever leaving our winery! Enjoy our wines by the glass, by the bottle, or we invite you to become the vintner and create your own batch of wine (28 bottles) complete with custom labels! Because all of our wines are significantly lower in chemical preservatives than store bought varieties, if you know someone who reacts to even one glass of wine by getting headaches and a stuffy nose, chances are they can enjoy our wines without the negative side effects. Visit our custom winery today and uncork the experience of wine tasting and making custom labeled wine.

Marcus provided insight on how to taste wine and the importance of specific wine glasses, tips on smelling, swirling, holding your glass, and tasting.

Custom labeled wine makes a perfect gift for the holidays, friends and family, as well as business associates or corporate gifting. Custom labeled wine can compliment any memorable occasion such as a wedding or anniversary. Custom labeled wine isn’t just for that special day; it can make ANY day special!

The gorgeous tasting room is available for rent to private parties after regular business hours.

InVINtions, A Creative Winery has an “A+” rating with the Better Business Bureau. We Proudly Support Over 150 Non-Profit, Small Business & Military Organizations Annually!

Thanks Marcus for the information.  Please see link below to learn more about InVINtions wine and cider options.
