THRIVE NOW: How to Die Young at an Old Age!
We ALL change as we age. This is a fact of life. The only
question is, “how vibrant and healthy are you going to
be as you age”?
George offered these tips on being healthy and having a youthful attitude:
1. Reduce stress with laughter and humor
2. Avoid injury.
4,000,000 injuries occur in the
bathroom each year. Make yours
safe. Use grab bars around the
shower etc.
Avoid stairs if possible. Install
a chairlift.
3. Eat right.
Prescriptions = Toxic soup
Though he didn't say how to avoid
them.
4. Exercise

Sister Cities
Karlyn Shorb
Executive Officer
Sister Cities International
A team of 27 city leaders went to Seongnam City.
a suburb of Seoul, Korea,
Seongnam City has a population of 1.1 million.
The purpose of the trip was to explore business
and cultural opportunities.
Three of our club members went on the trip,
Bill Wiggins, Brad Pierce, Dave Patterson. Some
observations were that Koreans were very formal.
Also, the cities are very modern and most of the
space has built up. New development must
be vertical. There isn't much agricultural land,
which means that agricultural products must be
imported. The tour guides avoided talking politics and questions about North Korea.
