Hello to All, Thanks so much for volunteering to help with various tasks on Thursday, May 20. An outline is shown below. If your plans change, please let me know.
Pick up flowers: Brent Hubbell and Doug Evans There are 50 plants to be picked up at the TH Pickens Technical College at 6th Ave and Buckley Rd. Our contact in the horticulture department is Bill. He is expecting you anytime after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Please bring the plants to the door on the east side of the hotel. We will have a team to help unload.
Set –up: Jerry Allen, Skip Schlenk, Deb Neeley, Barbara Rowe, Al and Cynthia Kirkman, Brad Mikel Please meet in the lobby on the east side of the hotel (Salon A) at 10:30 a.m. I will have programs, signs and we will help unload the centerpieces.
Monitors: Rick Stanzyk, Al Kirkman, Cynthia Kirkman, Ev Sequeira Please meet at the Rotary table outside of Salon A at 11:30 a.m. I will have table lists and other instructions for you.
Herders: Kim Stuart, Frank Weddig, Tom Pirog, Jim Rogers, Chuck Cluster, Craig Wagner, Harrison Cochran, Doug Evans Please plan to be available at the Rotary table outside Salon A at 11:35. I will have extra seating lists and as soon as we open the doors I would ask that you literally “herd” folks into the banquet room. We want everyone seated by 11:45 a.m.
Greeters: Skip Schlenk, Tom Nicholas, Ron Maclachlan, Howard Hall, Doug Evans Please plan to be outside Salon A beginning at 11:15 a.m. We will do a mic check with the mayor as soon as he arrives and plan to have him join you in greeting folks asap.
Elected Officials Watch: Kim Stuart and whomever else I can strong-arm. The goal is to identify elected officials prior to introductions. I have a list from which we can check people off. I have also asked table sponsors to let me know if they plan to have elected officials at their table.
