Rotational at T G Danzport
Val Cunningham's Studio

Val and husband Chris demonstrated and explained a variety of dances: the ballroom dances, waltz, foxtrot, and tango.
The rhythm dances: rhumba, cha-cha, (with hip action).
The fun dances: east coast swing and quick step.

Chris and Val are professional and graceful. The studio has 5 resident instructors. Val assured us that we could all do these dances including Cuban dances with "hip action".
Val displayed her fitted and very expensive gowns she wears in competition like The Colorado Star Ball.
In September, Val will have a showcase that will demonstrate what her students have learned.
The dancing and delightful music certainly provided a delightful mid-day interlude.

Gene Spanarella related how ballroom dancing in the Italian community brought his parents together. Italian parents were very strict and provided teen dances where kids could go to meet, (and then go home separately). The only way a boy dated a girl unaccompanied, was to "declare his intentions" with her father.
