  AURORA ROTARY FOUNDATION

The Aurora Rotary Foundation, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Colorado
on April 2, 1982 as a Nonprofit Corporation. The Foundation was organized
exclusively for charitable, civic and educational purposes within the
meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation
received a Federal Tax exempt 501 (c) (3) status from the Internal Revenue
 Service on May 16, 1983.

The Aurora Rotary Foundation is a not for profit corporation that supports
the local efforts of the Rotary Club of Aurora. The mission of the
Foundation is to support the projects and donations of the Rotary Club of
Aurora in its fulfillment of Rotary's local charitable, civic and
 educational goals.

Since being incorporated the Foundation has and continues to support
numerous groups, scholarships and projects. Among the groups supported are
The Comitis Crisis Center, Gateway Battered Women Shelter, The YMCA and The
Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America. Civic projects like the Aurora Fire
Department Life Safety Trailer are supported by the Foundation. Educational
needs of our community are supported by projects like The Rotary Club of
Aurora's Live and Learn Project and annual Scholarships to each of the
Six-area High Schools to the Community College of Aurora.

The Foundation supports these community needs through fund raising efforts
of the Rotary Club of Aurora and through voluntary donations from
 individuals, organizations and businesses.
